Finanční aspekty lesních ekosystémů
Štěpánková, Michaela
Štěpánková, M., Financial aspects of forest ecosystems. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2022. Forest ecosystems provide a range of services that affect the life and well-being of society. As a result of climate neutrality being achieved under the Green Deal, the carbon sequestration ecosystem service plays a significant role. Its role is to reduce atmospheric concentrations and slow global warming by storing oxide in its biomass. Climate change is, among other things, also the cause of the bark beetle calamity, which has negatively affected the functional capabilities of forest ecosystems and the financial situation of forest owners. Therefore, the aim of the work is to quantify the financial aspects of forest ecosystem management on a model of 1 hectare and to evaluate the level of support for forest owners. The benefit of carbon sequestration is demonstrated in the enumeration of the value in individual regions of the Czech Republic regarding the area size of forest land. Consequently, a recommendation for forest ecosystem management is cre-ated to protect investments and the resilience of forests to climate change.

Švejdová, Amália ; Schwarz, Jiří (advisor) ; Skuhrovec, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis Economics of Religion: Analysis of Contributions in the Roman Catholic Church in the Czech Republic focuses on economics of religion in the enviroment of the Czech republic and especially the case of the Roman Catholic Church. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the situation of the religious market and the role and position of the Roman Catholic Church within it, in regards to participation in religious institutions, voluntary donations etc. By studying the relationship between the state and church and it's determined financing system it is possible to set the model for the degree of financial participation of the church's members (voluntary contributions). By using a regression analysis, a hypothesis is tested on specific empirical data - the amount of voluntary contributions, (un)employment, age, size of the church, and percentage of women in the population.

Pension system reform in CR
Kučera, Mario ; Ježek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Munzi, Tomáš (referee)
The object of my diploma is focused in the pension system of The Czech Republic and the perspective of it in the future. At present there is still no problem in the financial balance of the pay-as-you-go pillar but due to the ageing of population the Czech dominant pillar will certain face to serious problems in case of no modifications. This conclusion arises from the first part of the analysis which also consists of the possible parameter modifications that could keep the system in balanced in long term. The next part is the analysis of the savings in the pension funds as the main alternative to the PAYGs. Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages which are main objects of both analyses in this diploma. Beside of the ability to keep the system stabled in financial terms I examine also the equivalence of contributions to the level of pensions that is important for the motivation of people to be responsible for their financial security in their old-age. The last part deals with the experiences of the pension systems in Chile, Slovak Republic and Sweden from where we could gain the real results of the reformed systems in different way in each country. From the results of these analyses I also give some possible recommendations for the elementary modifications in Czech system in the final part.
